My favorite part is inspiring other women to be entrepreneurs and helping them get to the next level of their life or business.

Is it important to have mentors and mentor other people? Why?  

Absolutely! Having mentors is crucial in any business journey. Mentors bring a wealth of knowledge and experience that can be invaluable as you navigate the complexities of running a business. Their insights, drawn from years of experience, can help you avoid common pitfalls and make informed decisions that might not be immediately obvious.

Mentors also provide perspective. They’ve often faced similar challenges and can offer guidance on how to approach various situations, whether it’s handling difficult clients, managing finances, or scaling a business. Their support can be a great source of encouragement, helping you to stay motivated and focused during tough times.

Moreover, mentorship is a two-way street. By mentoring others, you not only give back to the community but also reinforce your own understanding of the industry. Teaching and sharing your knowledge can deepen your expertise and introduce you to new ideas and perspectives. The landscape of business is changing for the better. Women are starting businesses faster than ever, but we still need the tools and mentors to help us get there.  

What does success mean to you? What does it mean to “be successful”? Can it ever be fully achieved or is it something that comes and goes?

To me, success is fundamentally about the quality of relationships and the support system you cultivate around yourself. It’s not merely about financial gains or achieving certain milestones; rather, it’s about the people who enrich your life and contribute to your growth—both personally and professionally. These are the mentors, colleagues, friends, and family members who provide valuable insights, encouragement, and perspective. Their experiences and wisdom can guide you through challenges and help you make informed decisions.

When I think of what it means to “be successful,” I envision a holistic approach that encompasses various aspects of life. It’s about finding fulfillment in what you do, nurturing meaningful connections, and having a positive impact on those around you. Success also involves setting and reaching goals that align with your values and passions, creating a life that resonates with who you are.

I believe that success is not a fixed destination but rather a dynamic journey. While you may achieve certain goals or experience peaks in your career, it’s essential to recognize that success can fluctuate. Financial stability may come and go due to market conditions or other external factors, but the relationships and knowledge you build endure.

The reality is that business often has its ups and downs. There will be times of growth and prosperity, as well as periods of uncertainty and challenges. What’s crucial is preparing yourself to navigate these fluctuations. This means developing resilience, adaptability, and a strong network of support that can help you weather storms and celebrate victories.

In this context, success is less about a constant state of achievement and more about how you respond to both triumphs and setbacks. It’s about maintaining a positive mindset, learning from experiences, and continuously evolving. Ultimately, success is a blend of internal fulfillment and external achievements, driven by the relationships you foster and the impact you make along the way.
