What motivated you to become an entrepreneur? Is having your own business something you always wanted to have?
I wanted to effect 1 million women with financial freedom. With having an easier life financially that also fulfilled upon their dreams. I own a few businesses. Living Your Worth, Inc. is the business that I am most passionate about as it if effecting great change in women, their families, children & their future.
How do you generate new ideas to stay relevant on the market? Is it important to innovate in your space?
I stay involved in Mastermind groups, I too have a coach for accountability and ideas in the industry. I meet weekly with a team of individuals that are in the Wealth Management industry and also sit on a board for Girls Inc. Long Island which also allows me to be tuned into the issues younger girls face with financial barriers.
What is your greatest fear. How do you manage it?
My greatest fear has been failure like many women I speak to. Why try if I might fail & that has been the greatest lesson in my life. I held myself back from pursuing other businesses in my life because I thought I may fail. The turning point was when I failed my marriage. I mourned the loss of my marriage more than I mourned my father’s passing. When I realized the life of a perfectionist wasn’t fulfilling my purpose I tore the bandaid off and said WHY NOT!
Who is the one super successful person you look up to? Why them? Can you share their quote/ideology that inspires you the most?
Yes, Richard Branson. He faces fear daily. Chooses business that other people think are nuts & is a dedicated family man. “My interest in life comes from setting myself huge, apparently unachievable challenges and trying to rise above them”. Playing a big game in life and outside the ordinary. Having fun with everything that comes your way. Women who own their superpowers make a shift in the world.
What is your proudest accomplishment of this year? What are you looking forward the most in the next 12 months?
My greatest accomplishment this past year is speaking to an audience of 120 women & watching the transformation on their faces as I presented the ideas of financial freedom and tips & tools along the way. And my vision board had speak to 200 women & I was asked to speak to an audience of 300 in April!
