My previous experiences have been instrumental in shaping my approach to health and fitness, ultimately leading me to where I am today. Throughout my journey, I encountered various fitness paradigms and cultural attitudes towards body image and exercise. Many of these approaches emphasized punishment and restriction, leaving individuals feeling defeated rather than uplifted. This firsthand observation ignited a passion within me to advocate for a different perspective—one where health and fitness are fundamentally about joy, empowerment, and personal growth.
Working closely with women in different capacities allowed me to see the transformative power of fitness when it’s framed positively. I witnessed the incredible changes that occurred not just physically, but emotionally and mentally, when women engaged in practices that celebrated their strengths rather than focused on perceived flaws. This experience taught me that health should be about enhancing quality of life, fostering self-acceptance, and cultivating resilience. It became clear to me that when women feel strong and capable, they are more likely to embrace their journeys wholeheartedly and inspire others to do the same.

I don't think I have any "competitors." Sure, there's the mainstream information I completely disagree with, but I have numerous colleagues who are, essentially, spreading a similar message as me, but in their own unique way. To me, this is wonderful. I simply focus on being myself and staying true to my voice and values.
Would you ever consider working for someone else and getting a “regular job”? Why or why not?
Absolutely not. The idea of working for someone else and settling into a "regular job" feels stifling to me. I cherish my freedom and the autonomy it affords me. Being able to set my own schedule, pursue my passions, and explore creative avenues is essential to my happiness and fulfillment. When I work for myself, I have the flexibility to make choices that align with my values and vision, allowing me to fully immerse myself in the projects that inspire me.
Moreover, the act of creating brings me immense joy. Whether I’m designing a new project, writing, or brainstorming innovative ideas, each moment spent in the creative process is invigorating. I thrive on the ability to bring something new into the world—something that adds value and resonates with others. This drive to create and contribute positively to the community around me is a fundamental part of who I am. It fuels my motivation and gives my work purpose.
Additionally, working for myself allows me to forge my own path and define what success looks like for me. I have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with clients, collaborators, and my audience, rather than feeling like just another cog in a corporate machine. This personal connection enriches my work and amplifies my impact, allowing me to cultivate a legacy that reflects my unique perspective and passion. In a world where conformity is often the norm, I find empowerment in embracing my individuality and pursuing the work that truly fulfills me.
What part of your personality helped you the most?
I don't give up. Even when failure rears its ugly head, I learn from those instances and move on smarter and more determined.

This quality manifests itself as a refusal to give up, no matter how daunting the obstacles may seem. When faced with failure, rather than becoming disheartened, I choose to view it as an opportunity for growth. Personally, my best work is driven by passion. When I feel deep within, for example, that "I need to say this." There's never a perfect time, that's for sure. But over the years I've learned what works best for me, and that's crucial.
