Oyindamola Shoola currently works as a Program Manager for a tech professional training and learning company. In addition, she is a career coach, Op-Ed blogger, and Co-founder of SprinNG, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting Nigerian writers.
As a polymath, Oyin explored a diverse academic background to match her interests. She received an associate degree in Psychology from the CUNY Bronx Community College and a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Behavior and Change from New York University. She is pursuing a Master of Fine Arts with a focus on Creative Writing at the American University. She has received over 10 honors and awards for leadership and community service and secured over 15 scholarships covering the cost of her tuition.
Oyin worked in the education industry for over six years in college success advising and career coaching roles. Using her storytelling skills, she has helped students secure over a million dollars in scholarships and gain admission to several top academic programs. Providing career, content development, and interviewing coaching, she has helped clients obtain job opportunities at different levels, from internships to freelancing, and full-time roles in several industries. Her clients have secured and negotiated 6-figure jobs and salaries at companies that holistically meet their personal and career needs.
She has several experiences interning at top trade and academic publishing companies, such as Elsevier, Simon and Schuster at 37Ink, and Hachette Book Group. Her writings, including fiction, op-ed articles, and poetry, have been published through several literary platforms and magazines. She has also published six books and chapbooks, one of which was acquired by best-selling author and publisher Pierre Alex Jeanty.
