BASED IN: NEW YORK

I am the Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Beau Monde Society. I create and direct fashion editorials, produce fashion presentations/mixers/popups, as well as PR and branding. As an eco-focused fashion communications agency, Beau Monde Society specializes in carving a niche for our clients. Beau Monde Society was founded on the basic principles of fashion and the role it plays in our daily lives. Fashion is not only a vehicle for self expression but an art form that celebrates our individuality. Fashion is meant to be F.U.N and that mantra stays true in all BMS's events.

Where do you want to be in a year? Where do you imagine yourself being in 20 years?

In a year, I hope to expand our eco-collective platform, Fashion Envie overseas and explore the creative talents that could add to the F.U.N conversation. In 20 years, that's a long way off but I would love to be happy in whatever adventure I find myself partaking in.

What is different about being an entrepreneur and an immigrant? Or it doesn’t really matter?

There's no difference between an entrepreneur and an immigrant. Matter of fact, we all migrated from somewhere. The most important thing is how we chose to begin this new journey in a new place.

How do you overcome failure, negativity and times when you are less inspired to rule the world?

I overcome negativity through prayer and spiritual meditation. I don't believe in dwelling and surrounding myself with situations or people that are negative. I repel it by staying away and having a positive mindset and attitude. Prayer helps because it encourages self-restraint-- especially during those times when I think that everything is not going my way. Everything is temporary but God's love remains true & eternal.

What does success mean to you?

Success means two things: being happy-- content in discovering my life's purpose. Of course there are dividends that come from pursuing those dreams. The latter is self-actualization-- the continuous pursuit of knowledge, inspiration, and creativity (which are infinite). That's true success!

Any last piece advice for entrepreneurs out there?

My advice would be to remain true to your mission, study your art/craft, feed your passion daily, and remain humble. Fear is a great thing! The presence of fear only means that a great opportunity is waiting for you on the other side of the door. Surround yourself with likeminded, successful (or on the path to it), and inspiring people-- from different backgrounds and age groups. Remember to cherish the moment, learn to communicate effectively, and be kind to others.
