What did you want to do/be when you were a child?

I have always absolutely loved fashion and I thought I wanted to be a fashion designer until I realized that I couldn’t draw. It was impossible for me to put my ideas into the two-dimensional world. This is what got me interested in millinery because I can create three-dimensional models of what I want my hats to be.

How do you generate new ideas to stay relevant on the market? Is it important to innovate in your space?

I’m always taking inspiration from the world around me whether it be nature or works of art. My goal is to constantly be trying something new that will make my clients say, “wow.”

What sacrifices have you had to make to be a successful entrepreneur?

It takes a lot of time to follow your passion. I’ve had to miss out on some things in my personal life, but I feel very blessed to have an incredibly supportive husband who also runs his own business, and understands the demand.
