What do you do?
I'm a photographer and blogger in NYC.
What is the best part about working for yourself? Would you ever change it?
I'm very independent and like having control of everything related to my work so working for myself allows me to do that and have the flexibility I want and need to travel, so I wouldn't change it for now.
If you could give your younger self one piece advice, what would it be?
Believe in your dreams and in yourself, it will take you to amazing places
Would you ever turn this into a something bigger or do you want to keep it small?
I wanna turn it into something bigger but I'm not quite sure what that will be yet. So I'm just working to improve myself day after day.
How important was social media to find new clients / spread the word?
Extremely important. I grew my business using only social media.
Would you encourage other people to start their own business? Why? Do you believe that it takes a special person to be an entrepreneur or does everyone have it in them?
I have mixed feelings about it because I was okay not being an entrepreneur and it kind of grew naturally when I saw myself wanting to accomplish things and had nobody to count on 24/7. So I believe we are stronger than we think we are, and that opportunities and situations can help us find out more about our strength. But living this lifestyle of an entrepreneur I have to admit that is not for everyone. It might or might not be eatable and you might never stop working but somehow I'm happy this way.
