Kacy Andrews is a fertility & adoption coach @ Adventures in Babymaking WE RULE WERULE

I serve families and individuals as an infertility coach through my business, Adventures in Babymaking.  I know first-hand what the struggles of infertility can feel like, and it can certainly weigh heavy on the self-esteem of people striving to grow their families.  More often than not, individuals will begin to feel alone and hopeless through the strenuous efforts.  I want to be the advocate to these individuals as I truly understand what they are going through.  With my coaching, I can help them examine what is holding them back and keep them on the path to achieving their dream.

I’m also a proud stage mom to twins, Fox & Dashiell Messitt, who play Tommy Fuller Jr. on the hit Netflix series, Fuller House.

What is your proudest accomplishment so far when it comes to your business?

I’d say my proudest accomplishment was the initial stage of starting Adventures in Babymaking.  The evolution of the business came about because of my own personal struggle with infertility.  It was because of that struggle that I have my twins and my older son through alternative methods of growing a family; moreover it gave me a new direction for a career I had never thought of before.  I’m proud that I became certified in coaching through iPEC, so that I could have the tools necessary to genuinely help others in need of being guided through their journey.

Who/What inspires you?

I’m inspired by my clients and their experiences with infertility, particularly because I know it so well.  I get motivated when I see them making progress through my coaching methods which essentially makes me want to continue with this business as I know there are so many people who could use my help.

Do you believe that there is one specific formula for success? What does it mean to be a successful business owner?

I’m not sure that there’s necessarily one specific formula, but one thing I can say has truly helped me was connecting and using my network to make things happen.  I already naturally do that, but I honestly feel that is the best way to build your business.  Connecting people and networking, even if it isn’t directly related, is definitely essential to seeing true success.

Do you have hobbies? What are they? Is it important to take “time off” and focus on other things such as friends, family, hobbies etc.?

I just recently joined a gym and I do feel it’s important to have a self-care regimen.  I make it a priority to do yoga and workout 3-4 times a week.  It’s very important because it helps you stay motivated in other parts of your life.  I’m an ultimate multi-tasker, so while strapping one baby with me while the other is in speech therapy, I go on a power walk with the dog, so that I can spend quality time with one child at a time, and still get in exercise for myself and the dog.
