Andria Schultz is a Film Producer & Celebrity Manager With a Passion for Teaching Millennials How to Network Smart
As an entrepreneur and brand strategist, I empower actors and creatives by teaching them the tools they need to succeed. My journey began with one crucial belief: I had to believe in myself.
I’ve always been passionate about creating opportunities. Entrepreneurship runs in my veins, and for as long as I can remember, I’ve found ways to open doors. I never waited for someone else to take the lead. If anyone told me I couldn’t do something, you could bet I’d be figuring out how to make it happen. I’ve learned that I can't let others' doubts and insecurities dictate my future.
One question I often get is, “How did you get your start in the entertainment industry?” It all started one summer when I had the chance to be an audience member at America’s Funniest Home Videos. During the taping, I was asked to play a game with Tom Bergeron. Unfortunately, there was a mix-up, and another girl took my place. At the end of the show, a producer approached me, apologizing for the confusion and inviting me to attend another taping. In that moment, I realized I had to seize the opportunity. I boldly responded, “Better yet, give me a job—I want to work here.”
A few months later, I landed that job, and my life changed forever.
That experience taught me the importance of asking at the right moment, which opened my eyes to what was possible. In life, we all face moments that challenge our fears, and that’s when we need to take a leap of faith. Taking actionable steps is crucial.
Success isn’t just about what you’ve accomplished or what you plan to achieve; it’s about the effort and action you take every day to reach your goals. There’s a secret to achieving what you want: believe that you can, and you will.
Staying true to myself has always been a priority. I never compromise my morals or values to get ahead. Being unkind to myself only opens the door for others to treat me the same way. It’s essential to stand firm in your convictions.
How you show up in the world matters. People are incredibly perceptive and can see through insincerity. It’s important to remain authentic and kind at all times.
What inspires you?
Honestly? I love watching the process of someone grow that I’ve helped influence. I get my energy from people’s positive energy, passion, and being surrounded by like-minded individuals. I want people to feel like they can go after their dreams no matter what struggle they may endure achieving it. There are no limits to dreaming, creating, and pursuing what your heart desires.
How has being an entrepreneur affected your life? How did it change the way you think about life?
Where to begin…I LOVE being an Entrepreneur! It has allowed me to express myself freely. I wake up every morning excited to see what is going to happen next, even when I am faced with a challenge. Challenges broaden my mind and I have zero fear of them. I believe that being an Entrepreneur has taught me to appreciate the little things in life a lot more because I have to work hard at what I want and when I achieve what I set out to do…it’s that much more rewarding. Let’s be real here! How many of us have felt good after getting something so easy? We take it for granted. It’s those moments where I am grateful to be surrounded by people that believe in the message I want to spread.
Do you have hobbies? What are they? Is it important to take “time off” and focus on other things such as friends, family, hobbies, etc.?
Yes…YES…yes, taking time off is essential! You have to refocus and get back into alignment with yourself to make the right decisions. My hobbies include reading, dancing, working out and yoga. Each of these activities help me get energized for my long days. I also make it a habit to talk to a few family members & friends every day and talk about my day. It helps me remember what is important in life. The business is important, but so is your mental health. Sometimes we loose sight of ourselves amidst the chaos of life, so having that support system is essential.
What is failure?
Failure does not exist. Failure is when you allow your mind to believe that you aren’t good enough or cannot achieve something. There are NO LIMITS, you are the only person who limits yourself.
