Passant Saied makes the most beautiful dolls in the heart of Egypt

My name is Passant Saied. I am an Egyptian artist who was born and raised in Cairo, Egypt of Egyptian descendants. I received my MBA from Edinburgh Business School, HWU in 2012 and received my undergrad degree in Political Science from The American University in Cairo in 2005.
I am currently a Business Support Manager, managing Entrepreneurship programs supporting young professionals in their start-ups.
My passion of art, especially dolls, started since a young age and drove me in 2015 to launch my own line of handmade PAF Dolls. Each Doll is proficiently sewed in highest quality and has its personal spirit, theme & attraction. Their cute features and unique charisma with their long silky hair make them tender to cuddle and appeal to all ages. They are made with passion to spread love in all its forms.
What is your proudest accomplishment so far when it comes to your business? What helped you get there? Was this accomplishment a clear goal or did it happen by chance?
My proudest accomplishment so far is that I finally came up with the final dolls look that I love and which are named “PAF Dolls” stands for “Passant Art Factory” Dolls. Also, I started to reach out to customers and sell my dolls with only organic reach. I am seeking now to expand my market by having digital marketing campaign.
What helped me is my persistence to succeed and achieving what I have been dreaming of love. I have always loved making handmade soft dolls and am always passionate about making them.
I believe that nothing happened by change. I just followed my dream and never let it go.
Who/What inspires you?
Kids are my main inspiration. I always get inspired by their cuteness and pure spirit.
How as being an entrepreneur affected your life? How did it change the way you think about life?
Being an entrepreneur brought me much more responsibility than being an employee. Also, I became very attentive and alert for any good opportunity for growing my business. I would do anything possible to grow my business and market for it to reach out for as much customers as possible.
Also, aim for spreading messages of love and care through delivering PAF Dolls to every place in my home country, Egypt, with a target of reaching out to the international markets.
Do you believe that there is one specific formula for success? What does it mean to be a successful business owner?
Persistence then persistence then persistence. Being a successful business owner means having more responsibilities, but good & challenging ones.
Do you have hobbies? What are they?
My hobby is to sew handmade dolls. I tried my best to concert my hobby to be my main focus of business. I think I reached a good stage till now in achieving this.
