The World Within Us is an international nonprofit, committed to improving our world through responsible tourism; it’s the first international travel company to design group travel experiences that directly align with the UN 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
The World Within Us integrates a sustainable and responsible tourism model emphasizing female leadership and community-based travel by ensuring local women have access to employment opportunities in this industry, and ability to lead travel experiences. That includes storytellers, artisans, small business owners, guides, and so much more.
WHERE ARE WE GOING?
Celebrate International Women’s Day in March 2021 with us in Egypt with our partners Ashoka, or join us as we support the empowered women of Solar Sister leading the solar energy movement in rural regions of Tanzania. Also learn about the history of Bali through the eyes of local women, with our partner Mother Jungle giving indingeous women the opportunity to share their stories.

The World Within Us is built for changemakers at heart, helping travelers learn about world cultures, landmarks, traditions, and tackle global issues. They also provide grassroot nonprofits the support needed at the local level to give back to the destinations travelers visit.

Many developing countries depend on tourism, therefore, restarting this industry in a safe way is essential to alleviating economic hardships faced by communities around the world.
