What motivated you to become an entrepreneur?
I’ve always wanted to have my freedom. I believe that a successful entrepreneurship is the way to achieve it.
How do you generate new ideas to stay relevant on the market?
My “learnt” professions, fashion and psychology, are pretty 24/7. I have chosen them for a reason, which is I never wanted to feel the pain of having a job I wouldn’t be passionate about. It’s literally like becoming a doctor - your office hours are everywhere and always. I’m curious and hungry all the time, sniffing new ideas from the stardust.
What sacrifices have you had to make to be a successful entrepreneur?
Achieving your dreams might be an isolating thing. There will be always people who can’t handle your success and those who can’t swallow your failures. I sacrificed the values and norms the society expected me to believe in and stayed totally loyal to myself. I practice believing in myself mirroring the ritual of believing in God. It’s a cool spiritual concept I learnt recently from Doctor Lauren Hazzouri while interviewing her for my new project. She is a licensed psychologist and a contributor to Gurls Talk by Adwoa Aboah. So yeah, fuck social norms. ;)
What are your short-term and long-term goals?
My short term goal is to learn and experience a great deal of fashion-tech. Amazing things are really happening now, some still behind the curtains! Long-term goal is to implement my ideas into life and create cool wearables of the future. Future Tech Lab owned by Mira Duma, Diane von Furstenberg and Elon Musk inspire me so much!
If you were a book what would your title be and why?
It would be Harry Potter because I actually believe in magic. In our mugolian world I think magic is technology and I’m going totally bananas for that! Also, I was watching JK Rowling biography lately and it touched my soul to the bone.
